SECOND ANNUAL Cut-a-thon June 5, 2010

Hospice House Foundation of WNC held its 2nd annual CUT-A-THON on Saturday June 5, 2010 in the BiLo Shopping Center.

The event included raffle's and give-a-ways, portraits, facials, massages and much more.

There was also live music and plenty of food and for all the motorcycle enthusiasts there was a Cut and Run ride scheduled with The Enforcers.

Cut-a-thon June 6, 2009

Hospice House Foundation of WNC held the CUT-A-THON on June 6, 2009 in the BiLo Shopping Center.

The event was hosted by Serendipity Salon & Spa and BiLo Shopping Center. Plenty of food, raffles, bake sales and music insured everyone had a great time.

Hospice House Foundation of WNC would like to thank all the participating businesses and volunteers for helping us put on a great fundraiser.

Spring Fundraising Started Off With Great Success

Hospice House Foundation of WNC, raised more funds for the Construction and Endowment of a planned inpatient Hospice House facility to be built in Franklin NC at the 17th Annual Macon Senior Games Spring Flea Market which was hosted by the Macon County Recreation Department.

Hospice House Foundation of WNC tables were filled to the gills with ‘goodies’ donated for the money to go straight to the Foundation to help build the Hospice House. Many community people expressed the need for such a house as they purchased gadgets from the table. Some said they didn’t need anything, but they wanted to give to the House.

Some buyers showed tears with their gratitude for the work that the Hospice Foundation is doing. Many related stories that were still close to their hearts. Many expressed how nice it would have been to have a Hospice House when they needed it. The Hospice House will be such a gift to the community many of the vendors said.

The Foundation is grateful and appreciate those who gave at the Spring Flea Market.
